Hi, I have recently joined an organization as a trainee.PF number is created, and Professional Tax is cut. PF will not be credited until turning into a full-time employee.
My previous organization is yet to set my last date.

Should I ask my current employer to immediately set my end date?

Will the professional tax paid by present and future employers get me into trouble?

Hi,

Why your previous employer is yet to mark exit date for your even after your joining with new employer?. Your previous employer should mark exit in the employer portal which date should be prior date to your joining date with the new employer. Please follow up with previous employer and get it done else it will result in a clash.

Hi, With regard to multiple professional tax deducted for same FY , you cannot claim back it but can avail IT exemption provided you fall under the purview of IT deductions.

Hi, If your joining date with new employer is early than previous employer’s LWD then you will face issues with claiming/transferring past employer PF.
