Hi, To get Gratuity 5 years service including notice period will be sufficient.

Hello,
Your employment will be counted till the last day of your employment. But in some cases to avoid paying Gratuity amount it is possible that the employer may waive the notice period. Be prepared to deal such situations.
Gratuity is calculated as = Last drawn (Basic+DA) x 15/26 x Service Yr with current Employer.
