Hi All,
I'm a company HR. I have a doubt in relation to statutory.

This is a query put by our CEO. The query is that can we pay the employees the salary as a gross salary without the coverage of the EPF as a take-home salary in case of the situation in which we are changing from some 'X' company to that 'X Pvt Ltd'. ( Same company but it has been upgraded to PVT Ltd).

He wants to pay the salary without being covered under the EPF in case of the employees whose salary is greater than 30,000/- without any salary break up(that is basic and some other allowances), that too, all these employed have been contributing the EPF for 1 year.

Is this possible? Can it be done as he desires? Is there any provision so? Can anyone suggest please?
