Hi, In our company we have only 5 employees under ESIC (located in 4 different states). Currently, we have only one ESIC code and from this, we are submitting all returns.
Please confirm if it is ok as per compliance or if we need to get the ESIC subcode. Kindly suggest!

As long as you are remitting the contributions within the date/ filing details in the portal / ECR/ the employees are attached to the nearby dispensary / local office concerned, then there will be no non-compliance. However if the employees are not able to get benefits then you may review the system. But for such a small number you can have all compliance under one Single code and once the number of employees increases substantially, then think of going for sub-codes as required. But for now it is not suggested.
