I would like to know what will happen if an employees name has not been removed from company PF List even after the employees resignation thereby providing contribution for several months. What may happen ? will the said employee face problems with their new employer about their Last Working Date ?

Dear Member, Even after separation , the concerned person name has been appearing in subscribers list being updated to EPFO as details along with contribution for few months, then as such PF records will reflect his services with this employer but not an issue till he would have taken up employment elsewhere prior to the date when such wrong continuation of PF subscription was noticed. If the other employer has done compliance for him , it would be doubling the contribution against the same account .But it would be sorted as account reconciliation but may not be a legal issue if the omission was bonafied.
The concerned may take assistance of both HR ( current and previous ) and approach EPFO for correction of the mistake.
