Employee Hand Book:need Help - Doc Download

I am working as a HR-Executive in a IT consulting firm.I am new to this line & i m preparing an employee hand book.I have some queries like any particular act we need to follow to prepare the hand book or any other HR related policies like statutory regulatory act.
