The world of business has recently continued to grow through networks of technological change in global scale. The trend has impact on organizational set-up and performance management with the growing IT and computer automation usage: giving rise to the devaluation of HR workforce.
In fact, productivity targets today are hardly determined by purely HR organization and controls; they are benchmarked often with technological mechanism. Thus, becoming productive and competitive can still be achieved nowadays, even if we have less people to deliver work inputs. And with less people, organizational set-up becomes leaner.
