Hi,
My employer (a reputed company) has asked me to look a job somewhere else after they did not confirm me after probation of 6 months and they have taken away all computer network & other accesses & are saying till I serve notice period they will assign any other work which management thinks is suitable for me in department. They said you can give resignation & you can serve notice period of three months & when you find another job you can leave next day.
Does any company has rights to take away computer network & other accesses & assign any other work to its employees during notice period ?
And when they say they will give another work which company thinks suitable for me are they not degrading or defaming its employees, what are employees rights in such cases?

Its easy to blame & finding fault in company. Many times employee is also incapable to handle the task. Integrity/locality towards company is also missing now a days

Dear friend,
What is happening with you is unfortunate but from whatever you have written, it can be deduced that your employer had developed a strong distaste for you. While you have written the effect, but your post falls short of mentioning the causes of it.
What about your performance? Is it Average or Good or Very Good or Excellent? Did you have any clash with anyone? Did you rub any senior authority in a wrong way? There must be some reason.
Employees can be assigned any work as deemed fit by the employers. Most of the companies mention a clause on this in the appointment letter. Check your appointment what it says. Secondly, the change of department is one of the usual tactics of the employers to force the employee to submit resignation.

Dear Friend,
It gives an impression that your employer did not find suitable during the probation for which they did not confirm your service.
The service of notice period is as per the terms of offer letter issued to you. You can fight if there is no clause of serving notice period in your offer letter.

Hi,
You should appreciate that your Company is giving you 3 months to look for a new job with a assurance to relieve you once you get a job. Please do a self evaluation. Serve proper notice and get relieved.
