Hi , I worked on HCL Hyderabad and asked my DU lead for transfer to chennai -Initally they agreed without knowing 18 months policy [ as i joined as experienced candidate i have to serve 18 months in the same project] .But after that they did not provide the transfer -To convince the client , They asked me to go on leave , I have taken the leaves. after that i went on LWP as i dont have leaves. I have decided to move out .so raised an exit. DU lead confirmed in the email that there is no impact on delivery due to my leaves[ LWP] .HR and DU lead approved my LWP till my Last working day.
Now to release the relieving letter they are asking me to pay the 3 months notice period - Is it legal.? Do i need to pay ? what is the labour law on this?
My case : There is no delivery impact and LWP is approved. do i need to pay?
please help me here. its bit urgent
