I have 9 yrs of HR experience. I have a break of 1+ yrs for my maternity and child growth. Even during my break, I was enhancing my knowledge with some certification courses. Right now, am looking to be back in my career path and trying for quite a few months. As a HR, I felt the reason for my break is green area alert which is unavoidable and inevitable in any women's life. But I wonder, why companies not consider. Quite surprisingly want to know your opinion. Is the market that way?

Companies do note break in service. But if knowledge level is adequate and topical then it should not be an issue.
Such kind of breaks are inevitable for many lady employees and in modern companies is accepted as a normal event.
