I have work in one small consultancy for 15 days. The start day was 12 th march. They promised me the salary of 15 k. but they mention 13 k in soft copy which they sent me on 20 th march. so I didn't go for 1 day and ask hr team to release offer latter for 15k salary. In offer latter they mention the 4 offers I have to make every month and probation period was 3 month. I tried to give my best but within that 15 day I got less submittion of profiles who attend the interview. Director told me on 26th march to work on between 6k to 8 k salary . I refused it and told sir that I can not work in this salary so told him I'm leaving the company. So I asked him about my salary that time he told I would get on 2 nd april. I didn't get my salary and now they are telling me that they can't provide salary because my performance was not good.
Please suggest me what legal action I have to do?

I think that your total working days from 12th to 26th March total up to 15 days inclusive of your weekly off. Always quality of performance of an employee is a subjective issue which can not be a factor for denial of his salary for the days he worked. Lodge a complaint with the area Labor Officer first; if it does not bring out any result, file a formal claim u/s 33C(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act,1947 before the Secretary to Govt, Labor Department of the State.
