Dear All, I need some clarification regarding paid leave in FNF.
Industry:Retail ,Tamil nadu,chennai
Issue: In one of the retail company has deducted 7000 rs for 7days paid in employee FNF.
When that employee called HR and asked for explanation, HR replied that in a year there will be 21 days paid leave in a year and employee has used 17 paid leave from Jan to July.actually the paid leave has been approved by reporting manager for chicken pox on March month.on july month the employee has applied 7days out of which 4days has been approved and 3 days were rejected. July 12th employee given paper for resignation and relieved on 20th july.
As per HR Calculation he says 1.75 per month so 1.75×7 he says for deduction.but as per employee has 3 days more for July month to apply.Because employee will apply leaves in people works software ,system has limitations to apply. if there is pending leave system will not accept it and even reporting manager also approved.but Hr saying that amount has already paid that is paid leave he says. In salary no extra amount is not credited.last year pending paid leave also not credited,in payslip also not mentioned.
Am not a HR so I cannot judge this who' is right Dear professionals please help me this solution.
Yours profesional friend,
