Hi professionals, I want to know eligibility of maternity leave
Joining day of establishment --is employer liable or esic is liable for paid leave.
In short I have joint my establishment date on 16/1/17 and esic registered date was 6/2/17
Am I eligible for paid leave under ESIC... And in my case my company or ESIC is liable for pay. Please help me

You are eligible for Maternity Leave, The leaves will be by the company and the payment by ESIC

Dear Ankita,
As per normal norms ESIC is supposed to pay the maternity benefits to the employee who are covered but in your case the contribution period is less than 2 year where as for less than 2 years contribution ESIC won't pay any maternity benefits to the covered employees. Thus you need to claim the same from your employer.
