Good news for lady employees:

Thanks

Thanks for sharing valuable information.
Please confirm the maternity leave applicability to other ladies who are non covered under ESI ?
Under Maternity benefit act it was proposed to increase the leave period to 26 weeks from 12 weeks, but the bill
was pending for passing.
Please high lite on this issue and if such bill is passed, share the copy of GR / notification.
Thanks and Regards,

What about females who are already in maternity leave ? As date of publication is effective date so its not applicable to females who are in maternity leave ?
Please share your opinion.

Hi,
Would like to know that, what about those employees who have already proceeded for maternity leave ( i.e.84 days) and were due to join in this month or next month, shall they will be also entitled to get the extended maternity leave as per new amendment.
