When a employee joined - i uploaded his details through ECR and his Fathers Name was added wrongly. I think that will go into the EPF database.
Can anyone give a solution or procedure to change this ?

1. If it is being done in the current month, you can cancel that ecr and upload the revised text file and pay the amount for the new challan.
2. If this happened in the previous months and the amount is paid, you can approach your epf branch office with the corrected text file in the usb drive or cd. So, they will upload the same, if there is no difference in the amount.
3. If this error occurred in last financial year and PF slips are generated, then you have to submit a request letter attaching the govt id proof of the member to correct the member's profile.
