I worked for an MNC at Chennai for 3.5years. I dropped my resignation, it was accepted. During notice period I was assigned with a project forcibly. At the end of notice period I was unable to complete it despite me extending my work hours. No replacement was also when my Last working day was nearing. They extended my notice period to 1 day. I served that day as well and got out of the company without dues. Received my relieving letter on my last day itself. Its been 6 months now I haven't received my F&F and Experience letter. No reply from HR side is coming. A new problem has arised due to this in my current employer.
The reason given by HR for keeping my Exp letter on hold is that I didn't reply to the mail thread that had me extend my notice period to One day.
I didn't receive any legal notice for such action as well. I don't know if I had done a terrible mistake. Please suggest me how to get my Exp. Letter and F&F settlement of Rs.85k

Dear ExHCLite,
From your login ID one can very well make you had worked what IT MNC. Anyway, withholding FNF is against Payment of Wages Act. Therefore, I recommend you approaching labour officer of your area and give a formal complaint. Find out what help he can provide. If he is unable to resolve the matter then you might to adopt the route of litigation.
All the best!
