My firm have 30 employees. Only 15 have wages less than Rs.15000/- . Whether registration for PF is mandatory in my case?

Dear Kbkshetty,
Yes, even if there is only one employee with wages equal to or less than ceiling limit, registration of EPF is mandatory; provided total number of employees is equal to or above 20.

As our eminent member Mr. Abbas said, the total number of employees is above 20, you need to cover them even one employee comes under EPF Act.

Hi sir,
whether 15 employee are getting more than 15000/- basic salary, will there be applicable of EPF Act .
Same for the ESIC if there are working more than 20 employees but 15 employees' are getting gross salary more then 15000/-.
what will be say the act of ESIC.
Please advice me for the cited above matter.
