Dear Human Honchos,
Thanks for sharing the information. If you classify the best practices on Maslow's Theory of Hierarchy of needs, you will be able to place them below level IV. However, biggest achievement of leadership of Google is their ability to fulfil self-actualisation need or level V need on the hierarchy. This is far more important. It is not mentioned in your list.
Do employees feel that they are intellectually challenged? If yes, then what per cent? On the one hand leadership feels that people are not giving their best and on the another hand employees feel that their work is not intellectually challenging. What Google could do is to bridge this gap. This is their major success.
