Dear Navita
You had not submitted any documents related to your previous employment.
You had not disclosed your previous employment details/information.
Right ??
Now, the questions that needs to be answered by you, are :
Why did you do this ??
How the bank came up with this fact about you ??

By not disclosing the fact is a wrong deed, in most of the companies/institutions the application form itself has a declaration stating that whatever information given is true/correct as per the best knowledge of the signatory.
As rightly asked by Mr. Rajkumar how come your present Bank come to know about the fact is really confusing, which indirectly states that you must have disclosed it to any of your colleague and they must have reported to the management. Anyway it is advisable to approach the concerned authority and tender your apology. May it works, and in the meantime get the NOC/Discharge certificate from the previous Bank.
