Hi All,
We are planning to introduce long service awards for all those who have ompleted 3 years and 5 years in the organisation. Apart from giving an engraved accolades, can someone suggest me something vey innovative and memorable . We have thought of giving Rs.7000/- for those who are completing 3 years and 12000/- for those who have completed 5 years in the company.
Pls share some of the good practices that are followed in the industry.
Thanks

Hi diksy,
Some more ideas to pen down :
1. Travel packages
2. Household utility items
3. Life Insurance policies - (giving down first installments)
4. Dinner with family at the 5stars
yes u do anything, but dont forget to involve the employee's family. :-)

hi mariaa
here are the polocies that u can implement
u can offer them:
1. restricted employee share option(RESOP) OR ESOP
2. A new Vehicel (if employees are 2-5 who are going to complete 3 or 5 years)
3.hoiday tour/trave package for the employee(with family)
4. Home applainces

OR
5. Give an employee a momento for serving the organisation with GM/Sr. Manager/ Manager or with head of the company/plant to employee in the presence of other employees and his/her family members.
Ithink the last and first one is the better option.
with regards

HI Maria,
Apart from providing these gifts.. u can organise for the felicitations wherein u can call the entire team with which the employee has wroked with.. a goo dtime for them to actually interact with each other.. then rest of the things like presenting them with a bouquet / cake cutting etc.. also will be good:) ... in case the day they are completing their 5 / 10yrs falls on a holiday / weekend.. u can arrange for a bouquet to be delivered at their residence with help of some vendor...

Hi,
You can also prepare a small citation (brief note on the employee w.r.t. his contribution to the company) and read out the same for the employee before you give out the award. You can also get the same words embossed on some wooden plate or something n give it to the employee as a momento..
after all who would not like to watch it later on in life...a momento with words of praise embossed on it
think about itl...
