Professional Tax - Xls Download [thread 42763]

HI
I'm working in Credit card co. which is registered in gurgaon and we have our branches in all india regions like Bangalore,Mumbai,Pune, Hyderabad,Delhi, surat, baroda,Ahmedabad,Delhi,Chennai and Kolkata.
Will professional tax be applicable? If yes, in which state it will be applicable and how much?

Dear,
Where is the company registered do't matter,
where are you are appointed that is important,
like if you are in Pune and your salary is more than 10000p.m. than p.t will be deducted @200 p.m and in month of feb. Rs. 300 ie.( annually Rs.2500)
and its differ according to state.
ie. in delhi no pt.
if in Bangalore you earn 15000 or more than Rs. 200 P.M(ie.annualy 2400)

Whatever cities you mentioned in your post, those are under states where Professional Tax is applicable, regarding limits etc, please refer to the attachment.
