Dear All
i am joined a new organization and making calculation of PF but here the Employer is paying EPF more than wage ceiling, now i have the following doubhts please clarify in this regard.
* EDLI shall calculate on basic wage earned or EPS wage ceiling?
* EDLI admin/inspection charges also calculate on Basic wage earned or EPS
wage ceiling?
Please kindly advise

Para 7 of teh EDLI scheme states that where the monthly pay of an employee exceeds Rs6500/-, the EDLI contributiion by the employer is confined to Rs.6500/-The administtraive charges shall also eb calculated on basic +DA +retaining allowance+ cash value of food concession.

for stating the right information and yes i know admin charges calculate on basic + Da but i have asked about the EDLI admn/Inspection chrgs, does it calculated on 6500/-.
