Hello HR Folks
Greetings for the day!!!
I am working with software company and our management want HR people to make our system more secure for attrition. Management suggested that at the time joining we should go for either bond or we can deposit employees original certificates with us or we can take money from them as a security.
Being a HR i feel it will spread negativity in the mind of new employees.
Please help me with this and tell me the best suitable way to reduce the attrition.
Should i go with the management???
Thanks

best way to stop the Attrition is not on bond, or taking certificates and worst case is money. Please dont ever think about taking money from the employees that will affect the total reputation of your company. You coudl talk to your Management and bring about Good working Cultures, Welfare meaures, best compensation policy, Incentive scheme, Get to gether, ESOP etc to retain your employees

Dear Sargi,
I'm fully agree with Mr. Suresh, along with this, you can start 'SUGGESTION SCHEME' for your employee. By which they can express their feelings & thoughts. You can simply get input from them, by their suggestions, which would help to you for review your policies & practices.

You can not think about taking money as this will definetly creates negativity. You need to use retention stategies such as:
- Town hall
- Talk HR
Employee engagement Activities
- Buddy systems
- Initiating WE LISTEN - tool for grievance handling
- Hall of fame......
Thses are some of suggestions plz brainstorm for few more and implement it......
