plz let me tell somebody(1) how will be calculated sickness wages and dependent pension.
(2)if a employee do job in a establishment under esic act and left the organisation within 15 days how much period he will be coverd.

Hi Rana
In terms of Rule. 55 of ESI Rules, an employee who is insured will be eligible for sickness benefit only when contributions are payable for 78 days during the corresponding contribution perid. In this case the employee has left within 15 days of his joining and in myview , he is not entitled to any sickness benefit. The dependant benefit is admissible in case of death of an employee due to an employment injury.
