If your establishment is covered under Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 then see which of the chapter i.e. VA or VB on Lay Off & Retrenchment is applicable & then go through applicable Industrial Disputes Rules to know the procedure & different applicable formats for effecting the retrenchment.
