Dear Pooja,
appointment order based on the company policy, if you have one policy for all group of companies ,you have to frame single format for all group.
or if you have separate policy for all company can frame order based on the policy.
another you have to think , acts are different form state to state, so you must think act also before making order.

Pooja,
It is advisable to keep single offer from the same group. If the prospective employee is needed in both groups, internal discussions to be held between the Group companies and offer has to be released by the company where the skills are best suited. It helps the Group company to avoid internally conflicts and prospective employee should not take the undue advantage of the situation.
Hope it helps. Please let me know what is final decision made.

Hi Pooja,
2 different appointment letter can create confusion to employee and company. This may lead to conflict. Also when you are making 2 different appointment letter are you going to pay 2 different salary,as annexure of pay breakup would be attached...which is incorrect and against the law.
What you can do is , you may add points/clause in appointment letter stating about his role "The Company, however, reserves the right to transfer your services to any of its offices and/or Group Company either in India or abroad".
This will help company to transfer to group company for while till the time the task is completed and also he will be playing dual role in both the company with the same cost.
But again this is finally company management decision. How they use their resources.
All the best.....
Regards
Elias
