Members may kindly enlighten me on this issue.
Appointment order of our organisation states that employees have all India service liability. One employee (technician) was required to be transferred from Panipat to Bhilwara where there is requirement for his services.
He pleads that he should not be transferred because his wife is working in Panipat itself and she can not get transfer. Again he has two school going children.
However, his transfer can not be dispensed with.

It has to be decided on compassionate grounds. If he is required there urgently, you can think of deputing him for a short period and can be resent again if required so that he may not feel dislocated from his family.
