Hey,
Is there any problem previously between both of you........then say 'Sorry' to him if no....... ask him politely why he is not talking with you.
Try and see i think both the terms work.......

Dear Krishna Raj
if you dont hav peer coordination or if they r not socialising wit u, then dnt worry......................the key is, u socialise with every one and also change ur character as flexible.................. inbetween your sincere work have som 5 min break & in that breaks u crack jokes r play some icebreakers................. wen u do this automatically these happenings will be noted by tat senior........... & his perception towards you ll change and mark my words he ll come and speak with you.but kindly be productive toooooooooooooo

Hi,
Sometimes Seniors just get threatened by a junior because of the competitive spirit. So insecurity could also cause this issue. Just make him comfortable by not being too aggressive and be friendly but don't overdo it either.
Thanks and Regards
Sowmya.

Hi, I think Madhuri, and Sowmya both have given a good suggestion... Sometimes you got to leave things to settle down themselves. Just wait for the right time...

Create intimacy at work place.
