Hi Shweta
What exactly you mean by concept of R & D in HR? do you mean HR executives getting involved in R & D aspects of HR or you mean the measurement of performance of R& D personnel in the company or firm??
I presume that you have in mind the first factor - HR executives getting involved in R and D. There are several ways of researching HR related topics: Performance of employees; satisfaction survey of employees; mentoring processes for employees (in-house and external); induction processes; rate of assimilation of newly recruits into the widely-accepted organizational culture. How creativity can be nurtured into employees? How Idea Banks can be evolved. Well there are many issues surrounding such research.
Even you can probe, into organizational reliability. Why some organizations stand the test of time and continue to operate successfully, without resorting to unethical practices??

A salary advance may be requested by an employee if in a need of reasonable emergency. Employees may receive a salary advance up to 50% (discretion may differ with company policies) of the amount earned for a month. An employee must have accrued a certain number of work days during the month in order to be eligible for an advance.

A written request by the employee must be documented in HR and payroll records of the employee file. The amount requested is deducted in the consecutive month’s payroll hence a written acceptance on the same is also necessary. After being approved by the Director or Manager, Human Resources the same is forwarded to the payroll and the pay check is prepared. It is also advisable to obtain an undated promissory note signed by the employee.

Sunitha: In the future, plz post your queries in a separate thread with your title. It will attract more replies and will help us in not deviating from the present thread topic.

Have attached a sample requesition form as well. Feel free to contact me with questions.
