What is more important to get a job in a good company: Certificates/Degree from a reputed institute OR capability and experience??

Dear Rashmi,
both is equally important to take entry into any reputed company as they have own policies for the recruitment.
so they have certain criterias that below this % marks candidate is not allow whether you have good ability or not is other concern.
while taking entry into second job as a experienced person the degree & marks will be second concer.
That is my opinion.

Dear Rashmi,
Agreed to the point that both Qualification and Experience goes hand in hand. We may say that Qualification is like a passport which which we cann't travel. Where expeirence is a something comes from employment. Obviously for first job, education is one of an important parameter for getting shorlisted but its not the only and the most crucial factor which is of course your knowledge / grip over the subject, comm skills and above all your aptitude.
Hope this makes you clear.
Welcome!!
Cheers!

Dear Rashmi Tuteja,
Both are like each side of a coin or a bill. To get started with you need qualification. However to bench mark in your career you need experience.. It is like Air & Water, we need both to live.

Thanks Sandeep and Akash. This question arises because if we notice the current trend in the market especially in HR, in every job posting you will see the requirement: "MBA from a reputed B-School only" even if the opening is for experienced candidates

murali i accept the thing, both qualification and experience plays key role to get a job, in my opinion first they see the experience only because an old patient is better than the new doctor

Ofcourse, qualification and experience both are equally important to get into a reputed organisation. I have some different view in this, more than the qualification, it is the experience, attitude, a good networking helps any individual to get into a reputed organisation,
hope you get the answer

Hi,
Actually, from my point of view i devide experience and qualificatons out of 100%. I give 51% importance to Qualifications and 49% to experience. Because to show your talent and experience in any organization it is imporatnt to enter in that organization first, but mostly organizations consider qualification first to recruit the candidate. If someone dont have good qualification but he have experience so mostly company may avoid that candidate.

Hi Rashmi
Ur question is very good question.B'cas I'm also facing the same problem.Mostly in case of HR.In my point of view, until someone don't get any job than how can be she'll be experienced. If someone give her chance to prove herself than she prove herself and get experienced. And to get first oppertunity the most important part is ur qualification.without appropriate qualification u can't able to give interview.
I hope u understand it .
