Hi all,
We have a HR consultancy Firm and we are doing well .We have a 9 member team working with us and we are specialized in to sales & marketing openings.
My concern is -the job seems to be very monotonous and the workplace atmosphere is dull and very much machine like.
i want to know What and all we can do to
1) electrify the atmosphere,
2) make people enjoy what they do,
3) give complete job satisfaction and
4) produce excellant results.
I request the members here to advise us how to make our workplace more enjoyable.

Dear Sir,
Give them good working conditions, make a set of rules like allocate proper job responsibilities according to the rules give them targets and take feedback. Try to find out the problem area, motivate your employees and conduct counseling programmes from time to time. Arrange some motivational programmes for them which may relate to your company’s target. As a senior person you have to take strides to interact with your employees. Try to understand your employees in terms of salary etc.
Regards

Wow, what a question and appreciate the attitude.
Treat them with dignity and respect, value their services, appreciate their good work genuinely - do it in front of everybody.
when mistakes are made, call the individual to your place and tell him/her he can do better. Hope you have read the One Minute Manager. Follow it and you will make the office a place which people will hate to leave.

HI,
This feels like a typical robotic working condition with more of routine / mundane activities day after day after day ! At the same time u r doing well in ur business.
What you should do is to bring more lively extra curricular activities in the schedule, which will refresh the mind & Soul of the team.
Say :
An unscheduled meeting, where you discuss on current issues (Political / economical) which may have impact on your business
OR
A short meet to discuss a gift for the one whos b-day falls the next week (make sure u give the gift)
OR
An extended coffee break with a presentation on any motivational subject.
Plan a dinner / movie / picnic together.
OROR
plan a client visit schedule. (You break the monotony + build better client relations)
and the likes.
This will break the monotony plus keep the mind fresh and will enhance the spirit of teamwork.
