Dear Seniors,
I have a simple clarification required on issuance of Salary certificate to one employee for his personal loan
At first I given him a salary certificate with the bank name as per his Request.
Now he is requesting that, salary certificate needs to be changed so that he can submit to other banks.
Can I give him the salary certificate by changing the Bank Name.
Also he is requesting for two copies of salary certificate to submit to two different banks.
Kindly comment your valuable suggestions.
I have a decision that I can give him the salary certificate, with bank name changed. Before confirming I required you seniors valubale inputs
Please Help me to take a final decision
Thanks in Advance

Dear Soja,
Any Certificate you issue to the employee, try being neutral (Common purpose). So you need not mentioning the name of any bank or any other addressee. if bank needs they will confirm from you before sanctioning loan etc. there is nothing wrong in issuing second certificate, however to be on safer side you may mention " issued for the purpose of ...........". However on every demand u cannot afford issuing such certificates time and again, but this is not so significant matter and you can make your decision depending upon your philosophy and work load etc.
Thanks & regards
