Hi All,
We are planning for quarterly empl. recognition and awards. We will give certificates for good performance. But instead of gift coupons we want to do something innovative!! like: Lunch with Business Head, Spend a day with the CEO etc.
Pl' send in your thoughts on some innovative non monetory rewards.

Hi Payal ,
Sigmund Freud said that everything you and I do springs from our motive:
' The desire to be great. (craving for the appreciation / importance ) '
Some of the things most people want include:
1. Health and the preservation of life.
2. Food.
3. Sleep.
4. Money and the things money will buy.
5. Life in the hereafter.
6. The well-being of our children.
7. A feeling of importance.
I strongly feel , if you want to really appreciate the people for their performance then it has to be in the form of ' Money and the things money will buy '.
This would keep his family members happy and if his family is happy , then certainly that would be a biggest motivating factor for him.
OR
Allow him to spend some time with his family at places like( goa , kerala ) .
I hope , this helps you...................
