I am framing the leave policy for my company. ia i am interested knowing the kind of leaves that can be included. :?
To name a few the ones i know are PL, CL, SL but how many pls,cls,sls ??Are there any laws or rules for the no of leaves available!!!!

Dear Prerna,
As you are already aware of the type of leaves, what is important is Break up these leaves.
Many organizations follow the Pattern of availing leave in quantum biannually, such as
Annual Leaves
PL 20
CL 10
SL 8
For period Apr to Sep & For period Oct to March
PL 10 PL 10
CL 5 CL 5
SL 4 SL 4
At the end of Each Month Leave balance is adjusted depending on how many leaves have been availed by an individual thus new opening balance is updated at the beginning of each month
At the end of the year none of the leaves are lapsed. Each are carried forward. The balance casual leave can be added to Sick Leave.
Apart from these Leaves there are
Public Holidays
Maternity Leave
Paternity Leave
Special Leave (Marriage)
The same is subject to changes depending on the Organizations.
