Hello All,
We come to know that there was a recent amendment in apprentices act that apprentice shall be allowed to work in night shift also.
If this is right. Can anyone of send the copy of amendment for our ready reference pls.

there is no amendment as such,even if you ask me apprentice are kept to give them on job training and not for doing company work .so what schedule you will make to give them trainining in night .so there is no possiblity of such amendment.

Thanks Malik Shab for this update...we don’t engage any apprentice...but someone told me that there was an ammendment in recent past...for which he needs confirmation from HR fraternity...

Hello, There is no such amendement I come accross. However, training time has been denoted in Apprentices rules. Regards, Gajendra Harishanker
