Hi friends Please can any one put some light on mandays. how exactly they are calculated? according to law how much minimum mandays we can pay in a year? Thanks in advance Rajeev

Manday means a day on which employment of human being has taken place. It is a composition of so many man hours and number of workers engaged. I donnot know whether you meant the same thing or not. But I did'nt get you what did you mean by 'minimum mandays and legal aspects thereon'. Please make it clear.

In a year for how many mandays you pay the salaries?and what are the
related legal provisions .
This was question asked .
Can you put some more light on this ?

Dear Rajeev,
This question is not clear ?
Coming to mandays, we can see like this,
for Example a worker can work for these mandays :
per year : 365 days
less weekly holidays : 52 days
less national & festival holidays : 10 days
( you can take actual as per rules)
less Leaves availed : 19 days :
Total 81 days
Mandays worked is : 365 -81 = 284 days
But, As per your question, he will get salary for the above all,
I think your doubt attempted.

We dont have Leave Encashment in our Company and 40% employees are expats.So annual leave is compulsory.I am working on Mandays Lost and Ours is service industry.Shall i take Annual Leave in calculating Mandays Lost and if so,Why?Kindly update
